Summary Details This Opportunity is an invitation by the District of Summerland to prospective Proponents to submit non-binding Proposals for the provision of FireSmart program coordination contracted services. Please refer to the Opportunity documents for more information. The District of Summerland shall not be held responsible for competitive bid documents that are located on any other website. The RFP documents set out:
Submission of Proposals To be considered, Proposals must be submitted via bids&tenders online bid submissions functionality in accordance with the instructions in the Opportunity document. Proposals must be received no later than the Opportunity Closing Date & Time. It is solely the responsibility of the Respondent to ensure that the Proposal is received on time. There will be no public opening. Requirements for Participation and Requirements to Request to Participate Proposals not clearly demonstrating that they meet the following mandatory criteria will be excluded from further consideration in the evaluation process.
The Contractor shall provide the District with proof of the following prior to beginning work on this project:
Term of Engagement The successful Respondent should be prepared to commence work shortly after the Agreement is awarded. The Agreement shall be valid for an initial term of two (2) years, with the opportunity to renew for up to two (2) additional periods of two (2) years upon the mutual agreement of both parties, if the FireSmart Coordinator is successful in obtaining subsequent grant funding to continue this function.
