Summary Details:

The District of Summerland requires a roofing contractor to be responsible for all work related to replacing the metal roof at the Summerland Arena. Work of this Contract comprises the following:

1. Replacement in-kind of the existing metal roof panels, roofing accessories, gutters, and downspouts (including disposal and recycling).
2. Removal and disposal of the existing internal gutter membrane and gutter drains (quantity: 5). Installation of a new internal gutter membrane and drains (quantity: 5).
3. Repair of flat-roof-membrane upturn at sloped roof and replacement of nearest drain in-kind (quantity: 1).
4. Removal or raising of mechanical equipment, as necessary, to complete the Work.
5. Removal of abandoned vents as directed by Owner.

Submission of Quotations:

To be considered, Quotations must be submitted via bids&tenders electronic bid submission functionality or by email in accordance with the instructions in the RFQ.

Quotations must be received no later than the Opportunity Closing Date & Time. It is solely the responsibility of the Respondent to ensure that the Quotation is received on time. There will be no public opening.

Requirements for Participation:

Please note that the site visit for this Opportunity is mandatory. Respondents must attend the site visit in order to submit a quotation.

Term of Engagement:

The Agreement shall be valid until Substantial Performance, which is requested to be no later than November 29, 2024.
